About Lizzie
A qualified therapist with 12 years counselling experience with adults.
I’m an Accredited practitioner with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I trained for four years in London at City Lit to become a Person-Centred counsellor.
My counselling experience has included working for a bereavement service in Ealing. A counsellor in a further education college in Brighton - Met College. I have been counselling in private counselling practice in Lewes since 2016 and Brighton Therapy Rooms since 2025. I work in rooms in the Open Door Health Clinic off the High Street and at Brighton Therapy Rooms.
Before training to become a counsellor my background was working with children.
I have twice monthly clinical supervision for my practice which supports my work, this is a requirement for all counsellors in the UK.
I develop my practice and keeps up to date with current research by attending continuing professional development and specialist workshops/ training throughout the year.
I sees adults with a range of issues including bereavement, loss and change of all kinds.
